Bob has more than 25 years of management experience. Since joining Kroll Zolfo Cooper in 1999, he has primarily represented debtors in large, complicated bankruptcy cases.

Professional Experience

Bob's recent assignments include assisting Hawaiian Telcom with its restructuring and serving as the chief restructuring officer of Blue Bird, a leading school bus manufacturer. From 2002 - 2006, he represented Enron in its bankruptcy, with primary responsibility for the development of a plan of reorganization to deal with a myriad of difficult issues, including complex financing and tax structures and large and convoluted inter-company relationships. In addition, Bob served as interim CFO and treasurer at Enron.

Other debtor clients include the New York Racing Association, the Loewen Group, Sunbeam Corporation and the Washington Group. He was a key testifying witness in support of the successful confirmation hearings of Enron and the Loewen Group. Prior to joining Kroll Zolfo Cooper, Bob held a variety of financial management and advisory positions. He spent seven years as a senior financial executive of a NYSE-listed hotel company where he led the completion of the company’s reorganization.

He was an auditor and consultant for nine years with Ernst and Young, where he provided auditing, accounting, and general business advisory services to a wide range of clients. In addition, Bob was a vice president of finance and chief financial officer of a publicly-traded (OTC-BB) start-up telecommunications company and held positions at accounting and private investment firms.
